A mobile phone IMEI number is a 15 digit serial number. You can find out your IMEI number by entering *#06# into your old phone. If you cannot do this, simply remove the phone battery and you will find your IMEI code on the back of the phone.

If your phone is in full working condition, has no missing or broken parts and is free from scratches or marks, it is classed as working.

If it is badly scratched/marked, doesn't turn on, has missing or broken parts or is otherwise faulty, it is classed as not working.

If your phone is physically broken, is in more than one piece, water damage, a cracked LCD, parts glued in, has a reprogrammed IMEI number or is barred/reported stolen, it is beyond economical repair.
